First OfficeTRULINE CORPORATION

Truline Corporation was founded by Grant Truman in 1962 as a single truck operator carrying produce from the West Coast to the Midwest and hauling beef and other agricultural products back to the West Coast.  Truline received ICC authority to haul gypsum from Las Vegas to Southern California in 1973, but was able to significantly expand after deregulation in 1980.  Truline was one of the first companies to adopt curtain-sided trailers on the West Coast in 1982 as we developed innovative solutions to improve our customer’s supply chain.  Truline further diversified in 1995, adding dry vans and refrigerated trailers to our product mix.  The beginning of a new century brought many changes for Truline.  A new transportation management system was adopted and satellite tracking and in-cab communications equipment was installed in all of our equipment helping us to continue our industry leading position of efficiency and safety.  Truline added our first dedicated account in 2002, illustrating the gains which can be achieved through a true partnership.

Grant Truman retired in 2004, and sold his interest to his three sons:  Clay, Rod, and Paul.  Under their direction, Truline continued to expand and improve.  Truline continued to invest in new technologies and equipment to better service our customers.  Clay and Rod decided to retire in 2014, and sold their ownership to Tim Estenson and Doug Pyatt.  With the new ownership came a new direction.  Truline has rapidly expanded and added facilities in Texas, Arizona, Arkansas, and Georgia as we continue to focus on tailoring our service to meet the needs of our customers while promoting a family culture and great quality of life for the people we work with.  As we look to the future, we are prepared for continued growth, aligned for success, and excited for the many available opportunities.
