Our vision is to establish Truline Corporation as the leading customer-driven logistics provider. Truline is committed to providing diverse capabilities and the highest level of service to meet all of our service-orientated customers’ needs. The company will utilize planned, managed growth, combined with necessary cost controls to ensure the long term success and profitability of our operation. Factors such as quality employees, new technology, and hard work will contribute to this commitment and vision. Truline takes pride in maintaining a safe work environment; including premium well maintained facilities and operating procedures. We believe that our employees are our greatest assets, and their well being and quality of life is paramount to our success. The guiding principles of our company are honesty, integrity and teamwork. Truline is also part of a larger community and understands the importance of supporting and providing service to its fellow citizens.

 

Truline History

  • 1962 - Truline Corporation incorporated in Reno, Nevada by Grant Truman as a single truck operation
  • 1964 - Company relocates to Las Vegas, Nevada
  • 1968 - Company leases facility to handle additional trucks & growth
  • 1973 - First terminal purchased as company grows to twelve trucks - Company receives ICC authority to haul gypsum and related products from Las Vegas to points in Southern California
  • 1980 - With the advent of deregulation, Truline is able to grow unrestricted in the Southwestern United States
  • 1982 - First curtain sided trailers added to the fleet. Twenty new long wheelbase tractors added to the fleet
  • 1986 - Company grows to sixty company trucks and owner operators as major accounts are added
  • 1992 - First conventional tractors added to the fleet, as Truline transitions from a cab over fleet to a fleet of conventional tractors
  • 1995- First refrigerated trailers added to the fleet to diversify product offering
  • 1999 - Truline partners with Estenson Logistics to start a dedicated contract service company
  • 2000 - Truline selected PeopleNet to provide onboard communications and fleet management solutions for its fleet
  • 2001 - Truline joins a captive insurance group to stabilize the cost of insurance and mitigate cost swings in the industry - Integrated dispatch and accounting system purchased, broadening system functionality - Construction on new terminal completed in Las Vegas comprising office, storage and maintenance facilities
  • 2002 - Assets of Borders Unlimited purchased, expanding presence in the California market - Brokerage division established - First dedicated contract signed through truckload division - Satellite tracking and in cab communication installed in all over-the-road equipment - Texas operation opened in Sulphur Springs, Texas
  • 2003 - New facility opened in Rancho Cucamonga to better serve Southern California market and Truline completed the installation of all necessary hardware for the PeopleNet satellite communication system
  • 2004 - New customers and accounts added, bringing the fleet to 150 tractors, offering dedicated flatbed, dry van, and refrigerated service on a regional basis
  • 2006 - Truline expands it's local full-time fleet to morning and evening shifts for on-time deliveries
  • 2008 - Truline installs TMW's TotalMail for improved dispatch and tractor communication and customer service load status notifications. Truline moves its Rancho Cucamonga office to Fontana, CA to join up with Estenson Logistics to provide continued service to the Southern California Market
  • 2009 - The N.M.T.A. Nevada Motor Transport Association announced Truline's Driver,
    Jack Fountaine, as their "2008 Driver of the Year"
  • 2010 - The N.M.T.A. Nevada Motor Transport Association announced Truline's Driver,
    Ralph Covington, as their "2009 Driver of the Year" This is Truline's second year in a row of having their drivers honored with this prestigious award.
  • 2012 - Truline partners in St. Louis, MO with Henkel Corp, a world leader in the manufacture of laundry, home care, cosmetics, toiletry and adhesive technology products to provide onsite spotting services as well as dedicated shuttle services.
    Truline driver, Charles Robinson has been crowned the 2012 Nevada Truck Driving Champion for the 5 Axle Sleeper Berth class.
  • 2013 - The Nevada Trucking Association announced Sergio Lemus as its 2012 Truck Driver of the Year for his community service, work ethic, and more than 5.2 million accident-free miles as a commercial motor vehicle operator.
